Safeguarding Policy

Safeguarding

As the people of the Wootton New Life Methodist Church we are concerned with the wholeness of each individual within God’s purposes for everyone. We are committed to:

  • the care and nurture of and respectful pastoral ministry with, all children, young people and all adults

  • the safeguarding and protection of children, young people and all vulnerable adults

It is the responsibility of each one of us to prevent physical, sexual or emotional abuse of children and young people and to respond quickly when this occurs.

Church Bookings

All bookings involving children, young people and vulnerable adults are required to have their own Safeguarding Policy and/or comply with the Wootton New Life Methodist Church Safeguarding Policy.

Further information is available in the Methodist Church Safeguarding Handbook.
